this weekend is the weekend of holiday parties! we have our annual cocktail party & a girlfriend's birthday out on the town tonight.  saturday is my work party & fancy night out at our local hangout.  amazingly enough, i am almost positive i have my full outfits picked out - definitely a first.

happy thanksgiving y'all!  of course when i think of any event, one of my first thoughts is "what am i going to wear?!"  thanksgiving at our house will be small & casual this year as our extended family will be elsewhere.  & no boyfriend; dropped him off at the airport this morning.  :(  never fun.  but i am excited to cook with my mom, eat tons, get some running mileage in, & rework my old dresser so i can use it at the new place!  hopefully a productive long weekend spent with my parents & sibling.

i adore this comfy chic look.  i would love to find a shirttail tunic like that.  do i even need to say anything about her boots?  she makes me want to practice my layering skills.

i found this vintage printed kimono a few weeks ago while shopping between shifts (typical). i have been putting it on over everything but then usually thinking twice & removing it before walking out the door. i think i need to try to belt it next time?

i wish arizona had given me a little more of a chance to wear these boots this year. i kind of love them. i still want a heeled black pair...my favorite flat ones ripped, and the replacements i found at a vintage store are quite tight.
